Our Past
The Upper Miramichi Firearms Club Inc. located at 1086 Porter Cove Road, was incorporated the 12th of September 1983. First constructed in 1985 the range underwent a $18,000 major improvement and expansion project in 2002. A new clubhouse was constructed in 2011, and extensive range remedial work undertaken 2018.
Our Present
Our Club averages an annual membership of 100, is open to "Members and Guests Only" 365 days a year, from dawn to dusk. The Range consists of a clubhouse for members to relax between matches. Two enclosed shooting buildings supporting a five (5) position 100m rifle range, and a six (6) position 25m handgun range. The range has stringent rules regarding conduct, specific ammunition, targets. The range is not designed for skeet/clay shotgun shooting which is therefore prohibited.
